The government has reduced the retail prices of diesel and kerosene by Tk0.50 to Tk105 per litre from Tk105.50 for the month of November.
However, the prices of octane and petrol were remained unchanged at Tk125 and Tk121 per litre respectively.
In a statement released on Thursday, the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources confirmed the price adjustment.
This move aligns with the ministry’s automated pricing formula, which adjusts monthly fuel prices based on international market trends.
According to the notification, the retail price of diesel has been set at Tk105 per liter, down from Tk105.50.
Kerosene has also seen a reduction to Tk105 from the previous Tk105.50 per liter.
