The Company Report section is a dedicated knowledge hub designed to ensure transparency, accountability, and informed activism around Bangladesh’s energy transition. This microsite brings together a carefully curated collection of annual reports, from companies operating in the power, energy, and extractive sectors along with relevant publications from the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and other regulatory bodies.

This initiative emerges from a critical need for transparency and accountability in Bangladesh’s energy governance, particularly as the nation navigates complex pathways toward decarbonization, infrastructure development, and environmental resilience. Each document archived here offers a lens into how public institutions articulate, implement, and assess their commitments within the rapidly evolving landscape of power generation, fossil fuel investments, renewable energy transitions, and climate adaptation.

By bringing these reports together in one publicly accessible platform, we aim to: Democratize access to institutional knowledge, Facilitate evidence-based advocacy and watchdog functions, and Support informed policymaking, journalism, academic research, and civil society mobilization.

The Company Reports disclosed here are not the property of the Bangladesh Working Group on Ecology and Development (BWGED), Coastal Livelihood and Environmental Action Network (CLEAN) or any other collecting organizations; instead, they were collected from GoB sites [i.e., MoEFCC, MoEPMR], ADB, AIIB, IFC, DOE, IDCOL, MIGA, World Bank, the operating company and other institutions.
